Since the hair transplant is not an operation under general anesthesia, the risks are generally relatively low. Under certain circumstances, there may be an intolerance to the local anesthetic. Side effects of the transplant itself are not yet known.
Since the removal of the hair roots under local anesthesia (Dermojet)
is carried out, patients feel during the transplantation no pain. Only from a slight pressure
feeling is reported, but does not cause any discomfort.

After the transplant, the hair takes approximately three months to start growing. As a rule, patients notice significant hair growth from around the fifth month. After nine months at the latest, around 90 percent of patients have beautiful, natural-looking, full hair.
